CORSA Builder Consultant – Insurance Roofing & Estimating

About the role

This role combines estimating, scope review, technical construction advice, commercial decision-making and insurance claims support. You will work with insurance advocates, claims professionals, contractors, suppliers and internal teams to review detailed construction and insurance documentation, identify discrepancies, and make reasoned commercial decisions.

• Provide technical construction advice
• Support insurance claims

About you

• Analytical and confident identifying discrepancies
• Comfortable reviewing detailed construction and insurance documentation
• Commercially minded and capable of making reasoned decisions
• Highly organised and able to manage competing priorities
• Strong written and verbal communicator
• Comfortable dealing with insurance advocates, claims professionals, contractors, suppliers and internal teams
• Able to work efficiently without sacrificing accuracy
• Willing to ask questions and seek further evidence rather than make assumptions
• Experience in one or more of the following: Roofing, Construction estimating, Insurance building or claims, Construction administration, Scope review, Quantity surveying, Building consultancy, Trade-based construction roles

CORSA is a growing team seeking a capable and commercially minded Builder Consultant. The successful applicant will receive structured training covering CORSA's insurance repair and claims processes, metal roofing fundamentals, residential estimating and quote review, scope comparisons and omissions, technical construction advice, price matching and commercial review, and priority and workflow management. This role provides an opportunity to develop beyond traditional estimating into a broader technical and commercial builder consultancy position, with future exposure to complex estimating, quote approvals, commercial projects and higher-level construction advisory work.
