Retail Store Manager - Burwood

At Oscar Wylee, we’re looking for an energetic and people-focused Store Manager to lead our Burwood store. What makes this role unique? Our Burwood store operates within our joint venture partnership model, giving you the opportunity to work closely with experienced Store Partners and gain valuable insight into the commercial side of retail leadership and business ownership.

No optical experience? No problem. Some of our best leaders joined us from outside the industry - we’ll teach you everything you need to know about eyewear and optical retail.

• Oversee day-to-day store operations, compliance, and performance standards

• Lead by example on the shop floor with hands-on sales and customer support
• Manage rosters, labour efficiency, and store performance
• Partner closely with Optometrists to deliver an exceptional patient experience
• Create a positive team culture where people feel motivated and supported

• Previous leadership experience in retail, hospitality, or customer service
• Experience coaching, motivating, or supporting a team
• Strong customer focus and confidence building genuine connections
• A proactive attitude and ability to bring positive energy to a fast-paced environment
• Experience contributing to rosters, labour planning, or store operations is a bonus
• A desire to continue growing your leadership career
