From weddings and conferences to corporate functions, gala dinners and community events, no two days are the same.

About the Role

As a Functions & Events Attendant, you’ll play an important role in ensuring every event runs smoothly from start to finish. You’ll work alongside our Functions team to create outstanding experiences for our guests.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Setting up function rooms, including tables, chairs, linen and event décor.
• Preparing bars and service stations prior to events.
• Providing professional food and beverage service, including waitressing and table service.
• Serving beverages and operating the bar in accordance with RSA requirements.
• Clearing tables and maintaining clean, organised event spaces throughout service.
• Assisting with pack down and resetting venues following events.
• Working collaboratively with the kitchen, bar and events teams to ensure seamless event delivery.
• Delivering exceptional customer service with a friendly and professional attitude.
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, presentation and workplace safety.

About You

You’ll be someone who enjoys working as part of a team, has a positive attitude and is passionate about creating memorable guest experiences.

You’ll also have:

• Previous hospitality, bar, waitressing or function experience (preferred but not essential).
• A current NSW RSA Competency Card.
• Outstanding customer service and communication skills.
• A positive, can-do attitude and willingness to learn.
• The ability to work efficiently in a busy, fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and public holidays.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in your work.
• The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Required Skills and Specifications

• Experience within a similar role preferred

• RSA certification

• Excellent communication skills

• Positive outlook and infectious personality

• Strong leadership and role model for team with excellent public relation skills

• Strong organisational skills and ability to work and meet deadlines
