Store Manager – Cannon Hill, Brisbane

Beefy’s are seeking a full-time Store Manager, with positive energy and a demonstrated passion for customer satisfaction, for our store located on Wynnum Rd, Cannon Hill, in south Brisbane.

About us Beefy’s proudly make a wide range of scrumptious pies, pasties, sausage rolls, slices, tarts, cakes and much more! Our premium products are well known in SE Qld and have won multiple awards. Our friendly team have a reputation for high quality products and excellent customer service, across our 16 stores in South East Qld and Northern NSW.

The Role This role involves working 38 hours per week on a rotating roster between Monday and Sunday working a variety of shifts including every second weekend. Shifts are rostered between the hours of 04.30am and 18.00pm. Due to the early morning shifts having your own transport is an advantage. In this position you will enjoy:

About You The successful candidate will have a strong background in providing excellent customer service and be friendly and enthusiastic. They will remain calm under pressure, have great time management skills and be able to lead, motivate and inspire a team.

Duties will include:

• Ensuring excellence in Customer Service as the number one priority
• Ensuring the highest standards of food safety and store cleanliness
• Training, supervising, mentoring and coaching team members
• Management of stock including rotation, quality and minimising wastage
• Implementing operational policies and managing back office administration
• Maintain knowledge and understanding of Workplace Health & Safety & Food Safety
• Planning and managing rosters
• Promoting a positive work environment that motivates team members to grow, be challenged and have fun!

Essential Skills / Attributes:

• Previous experience leading a team preferably in a retail/food service environment
• Customer service focused, with the ability to engage new customers and maintain returning customer relationships
• Highly organised with great time management and communication skills
• Self motivated, reliable and honest
• Able to build solid relationships within the store team and greater network as well as with customers, suppliers and contractors.
• Ability to effectively manage quality issues and minimise wastage
• Ability to achieve store KPI’s
