We are looking for a motivated Professional Structural Engineer to join our Buildings & Places Structures team in Sydney. You'll work alongside experienced engineers on a diverse range of building projects across aviation, sport, culture and entertainment, education, healthcare and transport infrastructure.
As part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team, you'll contribute to the design and delivery of innovative, sustainable structural solutions while continuing to develop your technical capability on complex and rewarding projects.
How you'll make a difference:
Contribute to the structural design and delivery of projects across a range of market sectors.
Prepare structural analysis, calculations, design reports, specifications and engineering documentation under the guidance of senior team members.
Assist in delivering designs that comply with relevant Australian Standards, the National Construction Code (NCC/BCA), and client requirements.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams to develop practical, efficient and sustainable design solutions.
Support the successful delivery of projects by contributing to project milestones, quality outcomes and client satisfaction.
Continue to develop your technical capability while working alongside experienced engineers on complex and rewarding projects.

The qualities that will help you thrive:
Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
Around 2–5 years' experience in structural engineering, ideally with exposure to building structures.
Experience contributing to structural design projects within a consulting environment.
Proficiency in structural analysis and design software such as SpaceGass, ETABS, RAPT and Structural Toolkit.
Experience with SAP2000, RAM, IdeaStatiCa or Grasshopper will be viewed favourably.
Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary project teams.
A proactive approach to learning, problem-solving and delivering high-quality engineering outcomes.
Given the nature of our projects, Australian Citizenship is highly preferred.
