THE OPPORTUNITY

As a HV Cable Jointer you will be integral in supporting our customers in relation to HV Cable terminations. You will be required to attend to and rectify faults in a timely manner, which will ensure minimal loss of supply and disruption to the customer.

Your Natural Inclination To Perform Work To a High Standard, And Willingness To Work Cohesively With Your Peers Will Be Complemented By The Following

A committed attitude to safety; safety is at the heart of our business and an essential core valueExperience with HV / MV distribution cablesThe ability to carry out electrical testing such as Insulation Resistance, VLF testing etc on CablesThe ability to self-manage projectsAbility to work alone in working an industrial/mining services workshopExposure to HV electrical equipment and systems for mining and utilitiesAbility to work underground if requiredAbility to travel away for work all over NSW as part of a maintenance team

EDUCATION

Electrical trade qualifications with a Qualified Supervisors License (preferred)Certificate III in ESI - Power Systems - Distribution Cable Jointing (preferred)Understanding of electrical schematic and wiring diagrams
