About the role:
The Warehouse/Production Team Leader is responsible overseeing daily inventory, dispatch, and receiving operations while leading staff to meet safety, quality, and productivity KPIs. This hands-on role bridges management and floor staff, ensuring compliance with food safety standards (HACCP/GMP), managing inventory accuracy via WMS, and driving continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment.
The role provides backup up for the Production Team Leaders as required.
About you:
To be successful in this role, you'll be committed to providing timely and proactive support to the warehouse and production processes. You will have:
· Forklift licence and proven safe and competent experience in forklift operation.
· Certificate II in Food Processing or willingness to complete in house.
· A minimum of 2 to 3 years’ experience in a warehouse is required (manufacturing or food production environment warehouse experience is desirable).
· Supervisory or team leader experience will be highly regarded.
· Familiarity with machinery operation.
· Strong understanding and commitment to safety protocols and quality control.
· Proven and well-developed problem-solving skills.
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
· Good communication.
· Demonstrated ability to work as an effective and contributing member of a small team.
