The Role

As a Compounding Assistant at Formulae (Albury), you will play a crucial role in our daily operations, supporting our team at the front counter, assisting with delivery orders and providing high level customer service.

The role is scheduled to commence ideally in mid-Sep, ideally for 5 days per week, working up to 38 hours per week. However this can be reduced slightly if needed to suit the applicants lifestyle. There is NO weekend or public holiday work required, and the store closes between Christmas and New Years every year.

Career Progression

This role is an entry level position for a candidate starting out in compounding pharmacy. As compounding is no niche it generally takes 12 months for a new employee to work as an assistant before they move into other areas in the store. However, there are numerous pathways for career progression and business expansion opportunities after this time. Whether you aspire to specialise in compounding, skincare development and manufacturing, customer service and consultancy, social media and marketing, functional health (e.g. nutraceuticals, gut microbiome and much more), or leadership roles. We encourage you to create your own pathway and will support your career advancement.

Desired Skills and Experience

We welcome candidates with varying skills and interests. While not essential, candidates with prior experience, strengths, or strong interests in the following fields will be highly regarded. 

• Functional / holistic medicine,

• Skincare / skin physiology, 

• Social media / content creation / marketing, 

• Pharmacy experience.
