Senior Urban Designer

CLE Town Planning + Design is excited to be recruiting a Senior Urban Designer with a minimum of 5 years’ experience to join our design team. We are seeking to recruit a Senior Urban Designer who:

• Is keen to learn and grow professionally within a supportive, team-focused environment.

• Possesses tertiary qualifications in urban design and has a working knowledge of the Western Australian planning framework.

• Has over 5 years’ experience working as an urban designer.

• Is ready to embrace opportunities and challenges with a desire to achieving quality outcomes.

• Has good interpersonal and verbal communication skills and who values building respectful relationships both internal and external to CLE, with experience in an external client facing role.

• Has experience in dealing with all areas of urban design such as input into scheme amendments, structure planning and subdivision design, including supporting plans, diagrams and text to inform the vision.

• Has strong skills in InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and preferably AutoCAD and/or SketchUp.

• Has strong writing skills and can articulate complex design matters verbally and in writing.
