We are currently seeking applications for Service Delivery Officers to join the Information and Technology Branch within the Department of Treasury and Finance for an initial period of 12 months, with the possibility of extension.

Remuneration:  ASO3 – Salary Range ($74,095 - $78,694 p.a.)

About the opportunity:

The Service Delivery Officer plays a vital role in delivering high-quality service support and fostering strong customer outcomes. This position contributes to the continuous development of the Service Desk Team by offering day-to-day guidance, actively supporting members and transformational initiatives.

A key focus of this role is supporting digital service delivery for our customers by facilitating innovative solutions through the use of existing and emerging technologies.

The incumbent directly reports to the Team Leader, Service Desk and collaborated closely with both the Level 1 and Level 2 Service Desk groups.

To be successful you will be:

• Demonstrated experience in delivering high quality customer focused IT support, including incident resolution, request fulfilment and troubleshooting in a fast'‘paced environment.
• Experienced in identifying issues, analysing problems and implementing practical, effective solutions that improve service delivery outcomes.
• Have the ability to work independently under limited direction while managing competing priorities and meeting tight deadlines.
• A strong understanding of modern digital workplace technologies, including Windows environments, Microsoft 365 (Exchange, Teams, SharePoint and OneDrive), and mobile devices across iOS and Android platforms.
• Demonstrated experience in communicating clearly and professionally with a broad range of stakeholders, translating technical information into user friendly advice and negotiating positive outcomes.
• Ability to adapt to change, contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, and support digital transformation activities within a complex organisation.
