Qualified Carpenter

Hanaman Homes is a family-run residential carpentry business working on medium to high-end new homes and residential developments across Melbourne.

We work across frame, lock-up and fix, with a strong focus on framing.

We’re looking for a qualified carpenter to join our crew full-time.

We have a strong pipeline of work, mainly throughout Melbourne’s eastern and south-eastern suburbs, with projects across other parts of Melbourne from time to time.

The work is varied and includes:

• New home framing
• Lock-up
• Cladding
• Internal fix
• General residential carpentry

Framing is a big part of what we do, so we’re looking for someone who is confident on a frame and can read plans properly.

We’re after a solid carpenter who can work independently, knows what they’re doing and works well with the rest of the team.

• Qualified carpenter
• Strong new home framing experience
• Confident reading architectural and structural plans
• Good all-round residential carpentry skills
• Reliable and organised
• Able to work unsupervised when needed
• Good attention to detail
• Someone who works well in a small crew

Experience across lock-up, cladding and fix is a bonus.

• Consistent full-time work
• Medium to high-end residential projects
• No volume housing
• A good mix of frame, lock-up and fix work
• Small crew
• Overtime when available
• Long-term work for the right person
• Opportunity to take on more responsibility as the individual grows

Salary negotiable based on experience.

We’re happy to pay the right rate for someone with strong framing experience and good all-round ability.
