Carpenter - Maintenance

Are you a hardworking and reliable carpenter with experience in general maintenance and restoration related work?

We are seeking a skilled carpenter to join our team, assisting with delivering high-quality carpentry works across maintenance, insurance, remediation, fit-out and minor construction projects. The role involves working within live operating environments including schools, hospitals, aged care facilities and commercial sites while maintaining strong safety, compliance and communication standards.

About the Role

Carpentry and general maintenance tasks include, but are not limited to:

• Carry out carpentry works including fit-outs, maintenance, repairs, reinstatement and minor construction works.

• Complete demolition and reinstatement works in accordance with project requirements and safety procedures.

• Assist with mould remediation and make-safe works as required.

• Assist with asbestos removal works and reinstatement works.

• Work safely and professionally within live environments including schools, hospitals, aged care facilities and occupied commercial sites.

• Read and interpret project scopes, plans and work instructions.

• Maintain a high standard of workmanship and attention to detail.

 What you bring:

• Previous experience in carpentry and general maintenance works

• Strong work ethic and attention to detail

• Ability to work independently and within a team environment

• Good communication skills

• Asbestos removal ticket (or willingness to obtain)

 Essential Criteria:

• Asbestos removal ticket (or willingness to obtain)

• White/Red Card (Construction Induction)

• Manual driver’s licence

• Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)

• Working Safely at Heights training

• EWP under 11 metres

• Permanent work rights in Australia

• Police Check
