Kitchen / cabinet assembler

Cairns Flat Packs is seeking a Cabinet Maker / workshop assembler to join our team in Cairns, QLD - on a full-time basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a well-established company in the tropical Cairns region. We offer a competitive hourly rate of $32-$40 per hour, negotiable based on experience. We also work 4.5 days per week with the opportunity for overtime.

What you'll be doing

• Assisting with the production, assembly and preparation for dispatch our flat pack and pre-assembled cabinetry orders

• Operate our Edge bander and CNC machine

• Read and interpret technical drawings and designs

• Ensure all work is completed to the highest standard within agreed timelines

What we're looking for

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Cabinet Maker or in a similar role

• Strong workshop skills

• Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications

• Attention to detail and quality of work

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Good communication and problem-solving skills

• Relevant trade qualifications or certification in Cabinet Making
