About the role
Brontay Transport is a proudly Western Australian logistics company with over 15 years of experience providing refrigerated transport, perishables logistics, and general freight services across Perth and regional Western Australia.
This is an operations-focused role suited to someone who enjoys staying organised, solving problems, and working in a fast-paced environment.
You will be responsible for coordinating the flow of information across our transport management systems, ensuring our operations team has accurate, up-to-date information to keep freight moving efficiently. Working closely with our operations team, you'll manage bookings, maintain transport records, and help coordinate daily freight movements. You'll also communicate directly with drivers when required to assist with day-to-day operations.

Coordinate with the operations team and drivers to ensure freight movements run smoothly and efficiently.
Manage customer bookings from creation through to completion, including amendments and updates as requirements change.
Interpret manifests and load plans, and accurately create consignments within our transport management system.
Maintain accurate records of freight movements, bookings, delivery information, and fleet data.
Assist the broader operations team with administrative and coordination tasks as required.
Proficiency with spreadsheets (Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets) and fast in using computer systems. Good typing speed is a plus.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
Confident communication skills when working with drivers, customers, and internal teams.
A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn, solve problems, and take initiative.
