We are a supportive, family-owned waste and recycling business operating across the Canberra region. We're looking for a personable, reliable Sales Representative to look after our existing Canberra customers and help us grow our local customer base — in a genuinely local role with minimal travel and family-friendly hours.

About the Role

As Sales Representative – Waste and Recycling, you'll split your time between looking after our existing customers – making sure they're getting a great, reliable service – and finding new customer opportunities across Canberra and the surrounding area. This is a local role: you won't be spending your days on the road outside the ACT and immediate surrounds, and the hours are built around school pick-up and drop-off.

What You'll Do

·        Service and maintain relationships with our existing customer base across Canberra and the ACT.

·        Identify and develop new business opportunities in the local area.

·        Conduct local site visits, prepare quotes, and negotiate pricing and service agreements.

·        Work closely with our operations and transport teams to ensure a smooth, reliable service for every customer.

·        Keep accurate records of customer interactions, quotes and sales activity.

·        Represent the business within the local Canberra business community.

What We're Looking For

·        Experience in sales, account management or customer service – experience in waste, recycling, construction or a related industry is a bonus, but not essential.

·        A friendly, reliable communicator who builds trust quickly and enjoys looking after people.

·        Self-motivated, with the ability to manage your own diary and workload.

·        Good local knowledge of the Canberra area (desirable).

·        Current Australian driver's licence.

·        Comfortable using basic CRM or sales tracking systems, or willing to learn.
