MC Drivers - Permanent Local and Casual Holiday Relief Changeover

AJM Transport is a family owned and operated national transport and logistics company specialising in express linehaul freight with branches in Newcastle Brisbane and Melbourne.  We operate a fleet of 90 prime movers and 250+ trailers, forklifts and company vehicles. 

We are seeking suitably qualified and experienced MC driver's for Permanent Local work around the Brisbane area, as well as casual holiday relief changeover drivers.

Local - Permanent

This position will require local pick ups and deliveries to various customers in the Brisbane area Monday to Friday.

Holiday Relief Changeover - Casual

Changeover work (express freight) ex Brisbane (Rocklea) to Coffs Harbour.

Positions we need filling will be a mix of dayshift and overnight runs.

We have brand new, current model equipment so those who take pride in looking after our gear are highly regarded.

There is an opportunity to do additional changeover work on occasion if interested.

Successful applicants must have:

• Rights to work in Australia

• A current MC licence

• Road ranger experience is essential

• A safe driving history printout displaying driving record for the last 2 years minimum

• Load restraint experience

• A sound knowledge of the current Chain of Responsibility (COR) rules and obligations along with solid Work Health & Safety protocols

• Fatigue management compliance (BFM) - If you are BFM accredited, a current medical will also be required along with your Fatigue Management certificate

• Excellent work ethic

• Ability to follow instructions

• Provide a valid reference

We expect you to be prompt, to have excellent paperwork skills, good communication and to be neat and tidy at all times.
