We are representing an established Sydney architectural practice with a strong track record across
multi residential and Class 2 projects, seeking an experienced
ArchiCAD Technician / Documenter to join their team. This is a role for someone who understands
how buildings are constructed, is confident producing high quality documentation and construction details, and can work with a high degree of independence.
About the RoleYou will work predominantly across
multi residential Class 2 projects, contributing to detailed documentation and project delivery from design development through to construction.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Producing detailed architectural documentation using ArchiCAD
• Preparing construction details and detailed drawing packages
• Developing plans, elevations, sections and documentation sets
• Coordinating documentation with consultants and project teams
• Translating design intent into practical, buildable documentation
• Identifying and resolving technical and documentation issues
• Working closely with Project Architects and Directors
• Taking ownership of documentation packages and deadlines
• Contributing to technically complex multi residential projects
What We Are Looking ForWe are looking for someone who is genuinely
strong in ArchiCAD and has substantial experience documenting buildings in Australia.
Ideally, you will bring:
• Strong professional experience using
ArchiCAD
• You will have come from working in similar architecture practices with min.3+ years, locally
• Significant
multi residential / Class 2 experience
• Strong construction detailing and documentation skills
• Sound knowledge of Australian construction methodology
• Experience through detailed documentation and construction stages
• The ability to work independently and manage your own workload
• Strong consultant coordination skills
• Excellent attention to detail and pride in your work
You do not need to be a registered architect. Technical capability, ArchiCAD expertise and genuine Class 2 documentation experience are the priorities.
