About the Role
As CFA's Senior Manager – Property Portfolio, you will lead the team responsible for managing a diverse property portfolio that supports more than 1,190 fire stations, training facilities, workshops, regional offices, emergency management facilities and corporate locations.
This is a strategic leadership role where you will help ensure CFA's buildings and facilities are safe, compliant and ready to support our volunteers and communities. You will work closely with senior leaders, regional teams and external partners to plan and deliver property solutions that meet CFA's operational needs now and into the future.
Your days will be varied. You will provide advice on property strategy, oversee maintenance programs, guide property acquisitions and disposals, manage leasing activities and work through complex property challenges across a large and geographically dispersed asset base. You will balance competing priorities, identify opportunities to improve how CFA manages its facilities and ensure investment decisions deliver value for the organisation.
Leading a team of property professionals, you will create a culture of collaboration and accountability while building strong relationships across CFA and with external stakeholders including government agencies, contractors and service providers.
