Project Manager

About the role

As Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading the planning, coordination and delivery of construction projects from award through to completion. You will work closely with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and internal delivery teams to ensure each project is delivered safely, on time, within budget and in line with project requirements. This role will suit someone with strong construction delivery experience, sound commercial awareness and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders across regional and metropolitan projects.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end delivery of construction projects across Perth and the Pilbara.

• Lead project planning, programming, procurement, resourcing and subcontractor coordination.

• Manage project budgets, cost reporting, variations, claims and forecasting.

• Ensure compliance with contract requirements, specifications, drawings and project documentation.

• Drive safety, quality and environmental performance across all project activities.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, suppliers and internal teams.

• Identify project risks and opportunities and develop practical strategies to manage them.

• Provide clear reporting on project progress, financial performance, procurement and key issues.

• Support the continued development of TEC Services' project delivery systems and processes.

About you

• Proven experience delivering construction projects, ideally within commercial, industrial, government, infrastructure or resources sectors.

• Experience managing multi-million-dollar projects from commencement to completion.

• Strong understanding of project programming, procurement, subcontractor management and commercial controls.

• Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, contracts and scopes of work.

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

• A proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to work across both Perth and regional project environments.

• Sound understanding of safety, quality and project compliance requirements.

• Construction, electrical or building services experience will be highly regarded.

• Relevant trade, construction management, engineering or project management qualifications will be advantageous.
