Job Description
As a Secondary Engineer working with the Transmissions team, your impact will be in the design of panel layouts, schematics, protection settings, cable/wiring schedules and related documentation related to the design of HV and EHV terminal stations and substations.
Key Responsibilities:
Undertaking secondary design for substations and terminal stations to a high technical standardManage outcomes within budget and project programme constraints whilst maintaining high levels of technical performanceReview work as part of the peer review process from time to time as may be requiredEffectively manage the detail design from concept through to final design implementation to agreed scope, quality, time frames and budgetsIdentify and manage scope variations according to client and/or project requirements
Qualifications
To be successful in this opportunity, you will ideally have a minimum of 5 years of relevant industry experience with demonstrated experience on electrical transmission projects. In addition, you will also have:
An Electrical Engineering Degree (or equivalent)Relevant work rights to live and work full-time in AustraliaDemonstrated experience with secondary design in networks above 66 kVExperience with IEC 61850 Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills to manage stakeholders at all levels
