About the Role:
We are looking for a Wellbeing and Health In-reach Nurse (WHIN) Coordinator CNS2 to provide high-quality service to identified local schools, and apply their specialist clinical nursing knowledge, experience and skill in providing complex nursing care for school aged children and young people in these schools.
As the WHIN Coordinator (Clinical Nurse Specialist Grade 2), you'll provide specialist nursing care and care coordination for school-aged children and young people across identified schools in Culcairn, Henty, Walla Walla and Tumbarumba areas. A hybrid virtual work model may be considered for the successful applicant, provided they are based within the Murrumbidgee Local Health District and live within a 90 minute travelling distance of the schools supported by the role. Regular travel to service locations and attendance on site will be required. Working closely with students, families, school staff and multidisciplinary health professionals, you'll use your advanced clinical knowledge to provide evidence-based, holistic care, improve access to health services and support positive health, wellbeing and educational outcomes for young people.
