Marine Engineer MED1

Cape Flattery Silica Mines is seeking expressions of interest from suitably qualified MED 1 Engineers to join our Marine / Production Crew. This role supports shipping and production operations and is responsible for vessel operations, troubleshooting, maintenance, and safety checks, while also assisting the Production Department as required.

 The successful applicant must comply with all AMSA requirements and Cape Flattery Silica Mines rules, regulations, and safety procedures.

 Requirements for this position include:

• Minimum Marine Engineer MED 1 qualification

• Certificate of Safety Training (COST)

• Current First Aid Certificate

• Strong understanding of workplace health and safety practices

• Current Queensland Driver Licence

An additional Open Master Class 5 qualification or Mechanical/Diesel Trade qualification would be highly regarded.
