What we're looking for

The Assistant in Nursing (AIN) plays an important role in supporting the operation of IVF Australia clinics. This is a multi-faceted role responsible for providing clinical support to the organisation, including assisting medical officers, scientists, and registered nurses with the care of clients. You will also provide high-quality reception and administrative support to clients, visitors, and staff to ensure the smooth and effective operation of the centre.

As an AIN, you will work within a multi-disciplinary team to deliver services that are safe, effective, and client-centred. Your role may include, but is not limited to:

• Assisting clinicians during procedures such as ultrasound-guided embryo transfer

• Providing support and reassurance to clients throughout their treatment journey

• Maintaining infection control standards

• Reception and administrative duties to support clinic operations

About you

• Basic knowledge and understanding of infection control principles

• Ability to support clients and assist during clinical procedures

• Current CPR certificate or willingness to obtain

• Sound computer skills, including MS Office applications

• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills

• Excellent customer service skills

• Ability to manage competing demands and adapt effectively to change

• Ability to work under direction with minimal supervision, as well as collaboratively within a team

Not essential, but nice to have

• Current NSW driver’s license

• Experience in a clinical or primary health care setting

• Familiarity with equipment sterilisation and medical appointment booking systems

• Experience working with diverse population groups
