Insurance in Super Claims Consultant

6 month contract with the view to extend!

IQ Group is seeking a Superannuation / Insurance claims specialist to work throughout the entire claims lifecycle and engaging with members at a sensitive time

 Key Responsibilities Include:

• Understanding of the relevant insurance rules supporting all superannuation insurance scenarios, including death, TPD, Perm Incapacity and Income protection

• Understanding of the relevant industry regulations relating to insurance in superannuation 

• Ability to assess and make determinations on Insurance claims

• Ability to handle member / beneficiary phone calls 

• Attention to detail

• Proficient in member communications, both verbal and written

• Experience managing insurance claims

• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication and customer service ability

• Proficiency with superannuation administration systems and databases

• A collaborative approach, with the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment

• Solid understanding of superannuation regulations and industry best practice
