Happy Housekeeping Co. is coming to Brisbane — and we’re looking for our very first Brisbane team member!

After two incredible years of growth across Toowoomba and surrounding areas, Happy Housekeeping Co. is expanding into Brisbane.

We already have clients waiting for us, and now we’re looking for the right person to help us bring the same standard of cleaning and customer service our business has become known for to Brisbane.

To begin with, the majority of our Brisbane clients will be around Kedron, Chermside and surrounding North Brisbane suburbs, with our service area expanding as we continue to grow.

This is a casual employee position — NOT subcontracting or ABN work.

A previous cleaning role is not required as we provide fully paid on the job training.

This is a job, not a contract

You’ll be employed by Happy Housekeeping Co. as a casual employee.

We take care of your tax, pay your superannuation on top of your wage, provide casual loading, cover you under our relevant insurances and provide you with payslips.

No invoicing us. No putting money aside for your own tax or super. You’re part of our team and employed properly as such.

About the role

Our work is predominantly residential cleaning, with some commercial cleaning as we continue to grow in Brisbane.

You’ll initially be our first Brisbane-based team member, so we’re looking for someone we can really rely on — someone who takes pride in their work, genuinely cares about our clients and would love the opportunity to grow alongside us as our Brisbane team expands.

Our cleans can include:

• Bathrooms, showers and toilets

• Kitchens

• Dusting and wiping surfaces

• Vacuuming and mopping

• Making beds and changing linen

• General tidying and household tasks

• Detailed and spring cleaning

• Other cleaning tasks depending on our clients’ individual needs

Hours

Our work is Monday to Friday during daytime hours no weekends or night work.

We can offer flexibility around days and availability, making this a great role for someone looking for work that fits around family, school hours or other commitments.

As our Brisbane client base grows, there will also be the opportunity for your hours to grow with us.

Who we’re looking for

Experience is fantastic, but the right person is even more important to us.

We’re looking for someone who:

• Is extremely reliable and takes their commitments seriously

• Has a great eye for detail

• Takes genuine pride in leaving a home beautifully clean

• Is friendly, kind and confident communicating with clients

• Can work independently once fully trained

• Is organised and able to manage their time well

• Is comfortable using a phone app for rosters, timesheets and communication

• Has a current driver’s licence and reliable vehicle

• Has full working rights in Australia

You will need your own reliable vehicle to travel between clients.
