Parts Interpreter - Part Time

About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Parts Interpreter team at Cricks Highway, a leading automotive dealership located in Slacks Creek, Queensland. As a Parts Interpreter, you will play a vital role in supporting the smooth operation of our parts department by ensuring our customers receive the right parts and accessories for their vehicles. This full-time position is an excellent chance to develop your skills and expertise in the automotive industry.

What you'll be doing

1. Provide exceptional customer service by accurately identifying and sourcing the required parts and accessories for customers' vehicles

2. Process customer orders and liaise with the service department to ensure timely delivery of parts

3. Maintain an organised and well-stocked parts inventory to meet customer demands

4. Assist with general parts department duties, such as receiving and stocking deliveries

5. Proactively identify opportunities to improve parts department efficiency and processes

6. Participate in regular training to stay up-to-date with the latest product knowledge

What we're looking for

1. Relevant experience in a parts interpretation or customer service role within the automotive industry

2. Strong product knowledge and the ability to quickly identify and source the correct parts

3. Excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders

4. Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in order processing and inventory management

5. Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and a willingness to take on additional tasks as required

6. A positive, enthusiastic, and team-oriented attitude
