Tilt Tray Driver — Ausdirect Hire, Brisbane

Ausdirect Hire is a Brisbane equipment hire business, based in Hemmant, and we’re growing. We run a fleet of two trucks and we’re adding to it. We’re looking for an experienced tilt tray driver to come with us as that happens.

The pay

$36 to $40 per hour, plus super. Where you land depends on your license and what you bring.

Paid fortnightly. Plenty of hours available for the right person.

The role

Reporting to our Transport Manager, you’ll deliver and collect hire equipment across Brisbane and South East Queensland — construction sites, industrial and commercial premises, and customer yards.

•       Safely load, restrain, transport and unload hire equipment

•       Deliver and collect across Brisbane and SEQ from our Hemmant depot

•       Daily pre-starts and keeping your truck presentable

•       Accurate electronic paperwork and transport documentation

•       Professional customer service on every site you set foot on

What you need

•       MR license minimum, HR strongly preferred — we run more than one truck and value drivers who can cover across the fleet

•       Experience with access and material handling machinery preferred

•       Clean traffic history

•       Real tilt tray experience — you can load an awkward machine without someone talking you through it

•       Load restraint knowledge you can back up, not just recite

•       Good judgement on site

•       Reliability. Turning up on time, every day, is most of this job.
