We’re on the lookout for an experienced Frame & Truss Manager to take ownership of a high-performing department - driving sales, operational excellence, and team development while delivering outstanding customer outcomes.

This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll oversee a small team and the overall end-to-end Frame & Truss operation, from estimating and detailing through to production and project delivery.

What you’ll be doing

Lead, coach and develop a cross-functional team across Estimating, Detailing, Production and SchedulingWork closely with the sales team to build on relationships with existing customers and drive new businessMaintain strong relationships with clients and industry partners across all project stagesEnsure products are delivered on time, on budget and to a high qualityLead the estimating & detailing teams both technically and commercially ensuring accuracy, pricing effectiveness and upskilling team membersDrive consistent and optimised scheduling and deliveriesReview the P&L and identify and implement areas of cost reduction or improved efficiencyDevelop budgets and forecasts and report on any variancesEnsure accuracy across pricing, costing and design databasesManage all plant, equipment and assets to ensure safety, compliance and operational readinessLead a safety first attitude across the siteProvide technical and commercial oversight on quotations and design solutionsLead continuous improvement initiatives across estimating, detailing, production, scheduling & deliveries (systems and processes)

What you’ll bring

Proven experience in managing a Frame & Truss (or a similar manufacturing) site a must (5+years)Experience with MiTek Sapphire a plusStrong leadership background with the ability to motivate and develop teamsSolid commercial acumen with experience managing budgets and performance outcomesAbility to implement process improvements and drive operational efficiencyExcellent communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders internally and externallyHands-on, solutions-focused approach with strong decision-making capabilityExperience with estimating/design software and interpreting architectural & engineering plansCurrent driver’s licence with flexibility to travel when required
