The Royal Australian Mint makes coins and other minted products to serve the needs of the Australian economy, foreign countries, investors and collectors. Branch and Team Overview
Information and Security Branch coordinates the IT and Security services and support to the Mint to enable the organisation to produce circulating coins, preserving the National Coin Collection and telling the stories of Australia by recognising significant anniversaries, events and organisations through coins.
Application Support team within the Information and Security Branch, is responsible for supporting the core IT applications of the Mint and works in collaboration with other IT teams within the branch to support the Mint in meeting its objectives and obligations.
About the Role
Associate Software Analyst – Enterprise Services
As an Assistant Software Analyst, you will work under the direction of senior team members to provide vital Level 1 and 2 support for the Mint’s core applications, including the ERP environment (Epicor Kinetic), Point of Sale (POS) systems (Precise POS), data analytics systems and other assigned applications.
This role works collaboratively in a small team to deliver support services to the Mint for the ERP and Asset Management environments.
A major focus of this role is system interoperability. You will play a hands-on role in monitoring and maintaining current middleware and REST API integrations, while actively assisting in the research, design, and testing of future integrations. This is a growth role where you will expand your technical capability, helping to build scalable connections that modernise the Mint's evolving digital landscape, whilst ensuring compliance with whole-of-government frameworks.
The Associate Software Analyst – Enterprise Services also escalates issues with external support providers and may contribute to ICT project work.
