About the role
Lead with purpose. Shape progress for a growing city.
Join a fast paced and collaborative People and Culture team where your work helps keep key people processes running smoothly across Council. You provide high level administrative support to the Executive Manager People and Culture, manage a busy diary, coordinate meetings and committees, maintain records and support a wide range of workforce activities.
Each week you schedule meetings, prepare agendas and meeting papers, take minutes, track actions and ensure deadlines are met. You manage records, respond to enquiries, coordinate the People and Culture events calendar, process invoices and purchase orders, maintain the People and Culture intranet and assist employees and leaders with day to day requests.
Your work supports employees and leaders across the organisation, helping the People and Culture team deliver responsive and efficient services. By keeping information organised, meetings on track and enquiries moving quickly, you help create a workplace where people can focus on delivering services to the community.
This role suits someone who is organised, proactive and enjoys helping others. You manage competing priorities, communicate confidently with a range of people and take pride in delivering accurate, high quality work in a busy environment.
