The exciting opportunity

• Permanent part-time role working 4 days a week from 9am – 5pm
• Oversee the lifestyle program at our 61-bed Grafton aged care home
• Plan and deliver activity programs that cater to residents’ needs and preferences
• Give one-on-one assistance to residents enabling them to take part in social events
• Support residents with mobility, nutrition and hydration management, and meaningful activities that promote wellbeing
• Build strong, respectful relationships with residents, families, and staff
• Complete comprehensive progress notes that accurately reflect resident’s care

About you

• Experience as a Lifestyle Officer or Personal Care Worker in residential aged care
• Motivated, compassionate, comfortable using IT for documentation, excellent communication skills, and able to build strong rapport with residents
• Certificate IV in Leisure and Health is highly regarded
• Full driver's license and unlimited working rights in Australia is essential
• NDIS Worker Screening Check and flu vaccination, or willingness to obtain
