Employment Type: Part-time (36 hours per week) – Rotating roster (Day & Night shifts, 12-hour shifts)

About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and safety-focused Product Technician/Machine Operator to operate and maintain production equipment while ensuring quality, efficiency and safety standards are consistently achieved.

Working as part of our manufacturing team, you'll help deliver high-quality products for major Australian retailers, including large supermarket chains, while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across the site.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate equipment according to specifications
• Conduct quality checks to ensure products meet technical standards
• Perform daily paper roll changes and machine cleaning activities
• Carry out basic preventative maintenance, including lubrication tasks
• Troubleshoot and respond to first-line equipment issues to minimise downtime
• Complete accurate reporting on quality, productivity and waste performance
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and maintain 5S housekeeping standards

What We're Looking For

Technical Skills

• Experience in a manufacturing and/or supply chain environment (desirable)
• Ability to perform machine setup and basic maintenance activities
• Understanding of workplace health and safety requirements
• Basic computer literacy
• High mechanical aptitude
