Alterations / Seamstress / Tailor - Part-Time or Full-time

As a seamstress / tailor the core focus of this role is to repair and alter existing garments from the sales people. The position offers an in house office with a bubbly and fun team.

THIS ROLE REQUIRES EXPERIENCE -

Essential Responsibilities

You'll be working out of our office in Sydney Australia. Your primary responsibilities will include:

Candidates must have Australian work rights to be eligible for this position.

• Alterting and fixing existing garments

• Repairing suits

• Being able to work efficiently and with skill on high quality suits.

• Essential experience with high-end suits and luxury garments is required for this role.

• Candidates must demonstrate expertise in full suit alterations.

As the ideal candidate you should possess the following skills/background:

• Have been a seamstress or tailor for a number of years

• Minimum 3-5 years of professional seamstress or tailor experience is required.

• Ability to alter jackets and suits eg. shorten jackets ,shorten shoulder, shorten sleeves, take in and let out chest, stomach, side seams and back seams.

• Attention to detail.
