About the RoleWe are currently seeking a compassionate and reliable Female Disability Support Worker to support an NDIS participant in Brunswick and surrounding areas.
Due to the participant's personal care and privacy requirements, this position is open to female applicants only.
This role includes providing support with daily living activities, community participation, personal care, and promoting independence while ensuring participants feel safe, respected, and valued.
Key ResponsibilitiesProvide person-centred support in accordance with individual care plans.
Assist with personal care, hygiene, dressing, and daily living tasks.
Support community access, social outings, appointments, and recreational activities.
Assist with meal preparation and light household duties.
Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes.
Build positive, respectful relationships with participants and their families.
Promote participant choice, independence, and wellbeing.
Previous experience in Disability Support, Aged Care, Community Services, or a similar role.
Current NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain).
Current Working with Children Check (if required).
Current First Aid & CPR Certificate.
Current Australian Driver Licence (legal and valid).
Own reliable, fully insured vehicle available for transporting participants and community access.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Reliable, compassionate, and professional attitude.
