Trainee Project Management - Certificate IV Project Management

Council is offering an exciting traineeship opportunity in Project Management within its Capital Delivery team. This role is perfect for someone who is organised, motivated and keen to learn how major infrastructure and community projects are planned, managed and delivered from start to finish.
As a Project Management Trainee, you will work alongside experienced project managers and technical professionals, gaining hands‑on experience across a range of capital works projects. You will support project planning, scheduling, budgeting, reporting and stakeholder coordination while developing a strong understanding of project governance, risk management and delivery processes. This position combines formal training with real‑world, on‑the‑job learning in a fast‑paced and collaborative environment.
This traineeship is a fantastic opportunity to build transferable business skills, develop professional confidence, and contribute to essential Council services while working towards a nationally recognised qualification.
This position will complete a one‑year Certificate IV in Project Management online through TAFE Queensland. For more information on the qualification through TAFE, please follow the link below:
