Through our merchandise, agronomy, fertiliser, cotton services, grain and logistics operations, we support growers and agricultural businesses across Northern Australia. As we continue to grow and diversify, we are seeking an experienced and commercially-minded Business Systems Manager to help drive organisational performance and support the next phase of our development.
Reporting to the CEO, this newly created management role will work across all areas of the business to improve organisational performance, strengthen business systems, drive accountability and support strategic decision-making. The position plays a key role in ensuring ORDCO operates as a coordinated, efficient and high-performing organisation.
About the role
The Business Systems Manager will work closely with the CEO and leadership team to improve business performance through effective planning, forecasting, reporting and business systems leadership. This position is suited to a practical, commercially focused leader who enjoys working across multiple business functions, driving change, influencing outcomes, and turning strategy into action.
About you
You will be an experienced manager with a strong background in business performance, operations, supply chain, logistics, manufacturing, agribusiness or a comparable industry. You will have demonstrated experience in business planning, forecasting, KPI development, process improvement and performance management, along with the ability to analyse financial, operational and inventory information to support sound commercial decision-making.
You will be comfortable working across multiple business units, influencing stakeholders, driving accountability and leading organisational improvement initiatives. Strong commercial acumen, excellent communication skills and a practical approach to problem-solving will be essential.
Qualifications
A degree in Business Management, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Commerce, Industrial Management, Logistics Management or Business Systems Management is required. Postgraduate qualifications or professional certifications, such as an MBA, PRINCE2, Project Management, Six Sigma, or Change Management, will be highly regarded.
