Full-time Ground Staff

Anthony & Sam Freedman Racing is seeking a reliable and hardworking Ground Staff Member to join our team at our private training facility, Pinecliff.

This is an excellent opportunity to work in a professional racing environment alongside a dedicated team caring for quality thoroughbred racehorses.

The successful applicant will assist with the daily care and management of horses while helping maintain the high standards expected within a leading racing stable.

This role is suited to someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys working with horses and can work efficiently within a team environment.

• Saddling and unsaddling horses.
• Rugging and general horse care.
• Walking horses and assisting with horse movement throughout the stable.
• Cleaning boxes and maintaining stable presentation.
• Feed preparation and feeding duties.
• Assisting with veterinary and farrier visits as required.
• General stable maintenance and housekeeping.
• Ensuring high standards of horse welfare are maintained at all times.

• Previous horse handling experience preferred.
• Good horsemanship skills and confidence around horses.
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
• Reliable, punctual and professional attitude.
• Valid Australian working rights.
