About the role:
GV Health is seeking a Grade 1 or 2 Exercise Physiologist OR Physiotherapist to join the HARP-DMT program working 4 days per fortnight on a fixed term contract from June 2026 until June 2027.
HARP-DMT is a continuously developing service for the region with a focus on the assessment, care planning and management of people with chronic heart/respiratory failure. Team members include a social worker, physiotherapist, dietitian, registered and enrolled nurses and a Clinical Nurse Coordinator.
To perform this role, you will have broad based clinical experience in the area of assessment and management of people experiencing complex and chronic health issues as well as a demonstrated knowledge and understanding of cardiac and respiratory service delivery across the health sector. Your excellent communication and interpersonal skills, an ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team and a well-developed understanding of an evidence-based approach to person-centred care, will be well suited to the role.
Please Note: This role can be combined with the position currently advertised “Exercise Physiologist/Physiotherapist” with the Chronic Pain Clinic
If combined this would provide the successful candidate with up to full time work across the two programs.
