San Marcos is committed to building lasting relationships through professionalism, reliability, and a shared focus on project success.Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Civil Engineer role based in Sydney, NSW. The Civil Engineer will support the planning, design, and delivery of civil infrastructure projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing and reviewing civil engineering designs and documentation, contributing to and ensuring designs comply with relevant standards and regulations. The role involves coordinating with project managers, contractors, and stakeholders, conducting site inspections, and monitoring construction progress to ensure quality, safety, and budget requirements are met. The Civil Engineer will also assist with project feasibility assessments, cost estimates, and continuous improvement of engineering processes.QualificationsStrong skills in Civil Engineering, with experience applying relevant standards and codes.Ability to work effectively as part of a team of Civil Engineers, contributing to collaborative project delivery.Experience in project Planning, including scheduling, coordination, and documentation for civil works.Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related discipline, with eligibility for professional accreditation.Proficiency in civil design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D or similar) and strong technical reporting skills.Solid understanding of local council requirements, Australian standards, and construction methodologies.Effective communication, problem-solving, and time-management abilities, with a focus on safety and quality.
