Are you a person that can work hard, good with your hands and wants good paying trade? 

We are growing and wanting to train the Belt splicers of the future, Belt splicing is a great Cert 3 level Trade that is rewarding and interesting and something you can build a career in. You don’t need to be a rocket scientist, you just need to be good with your hands and have a will to learn.  Mature applicants with a manual handling/physical job experience are encouraged to apply.

Do you want to sink your teeth into a job and learn at your pace? 

Belt splicing is Competency based Cert 3 meaning it can be as quick or slow as you need. If you are a person that learns quickly you can proceed through the ranks and earn higher rates or if you take a bit longer to get there, we will support you the entire way. Both is fine you just need to be a team player with can do attitude. All training is offered inhouse, both theory and practical, to help you succeed through your training.  We also cover all Licences which are yours to keep including;  

• Forklift 

• MR & HR Truck 

• EWP 

• Dogman 

• Working at Heights 

• Coal Mining Inductions etc. 

Do you like to travel around and do different types of work every day? 

At CBC we travel a lot and every day is different! We service Customers around a 300km radius of Dalby in a number of industries including Mining, Quarry, Construction and Ag. You will never get bored as every day is a different place doing a different job. Sometimes we stay overnight if needed but generally home each night in your own bed.  

Do you want to get ahead in life?  

Belt Splicing is a career that you can make a good wage. Almost mining money but home every night! You can even take advantage of our overtime and penalty rates if you want to save up for something special.

3 Reasons that this job may not be for you  

• You don’t like working weekends or after hours our customers run 24/7 and when they call us we need to be there. Don’t worry we have rosters in place and flexibility so you will still get weekend off when you need to. 

• You don’t enjoy working in a small  team with great people. Team Culture is really important to us we are at work most of our lives so you need to be able to enjoy it. We only need people that want to be part of the team 

• You need to be able to work without supervision, we will give you all the tools and training needed to do the job, but we need people to do the right thing when their supervisor is not around.
