Group S&OP Lead

We are seeking an experienced Group S&OP Lead to own and lead our end‑to‑end Sales & Operations Planning / Integrated Business Planning (S&OP / IBP) process across a large, complex organisation.This is a senior role based in Adelaide, with significant influence, partnering closely with senior stakeholders across Supply Chain, Operations, Sales, Commercial and Finance to deliver a single, aligned plan supporting 12–24-month horizons and a fast‑paced monthly cycle.We are particularly interested in candidates open to relocating to Adelaide. For the right person, this represents a genuine step up in scope, visibility and impact within a global business. Relocation support is available.Key ResponsibilitiesLead Group end‑to‑end monthly S&OPFacilitate cross-functional planning forums and executive decision-makingAlign demand, supply, inventory with commercial priorities, drive scenario modelling and risk mitigation planningPrepare and present clear insights, risks and recommendations to senior leadershipDrive performance through key metrics including forecast accuracy, DIFOT, inventory health and capacity utilizationOperate hands‑on with data (manual manipulation where required), while supporting planning system uplift (including QAD to Kinetic transition)About You10+ years’ experience in Supply chain or planning roles, of which at least 3 in S&OP or IBP leading roleStrong manufacturing background with prior experience in a similar S&OP / IBP leadership roleProven ability to influence and challenge senior stakeholders without direct authorityStrong commercial and financial acumen, linking volumes, revenue, margins and profitabilityHighly effective communicator with strong facilitation, negotiation and presentation skillsStrategic thinker who thrives in complex, fast‑paced environmentsQualificationsDegree‑qualified in Supply Chain, Business, Industrial Engineering, Finance or a related discipline.If you enjoy turning complex data into clear executive decisions and building alignment across the business, we’d love to hear from you.About UsThe Detmold Group is a family-owned and operated global business, partnering with some of the world’s largest and most iconic food and retail brands to create world-class packaging for a better tomorrow.Our business is focused on making a positive impact for our people, our partners and our planet whilst keeping our customers at the core of everything we do.
