Sales Assistant

The casual role

Our new Snooze Bathurst store is seeking an experienced Sales Assistant who is a confident communicator, who loves talking to people and knows how to build strong relationships while striving to provide sleep solutions.

Although sales experience is preferred, with a good memory for information and a superb attitude, we can teach you the rest!

Expect to work retail hours, including a roster of regular rotating weekends, some weekdays, late night trading and public holidays where required.

At Snooze, you will

• Engage with customers to understand their needs, providing exceptional service

• Build rapport with our customers in a genuine way

• Collaborate with your team in day-to-day retail store operations with tasks such as:

  • merchandising bedrooms

  • keeping the store clean

  • operating computers

  • walking the floor and lifting stock

The successful candidate has

• Confidence in talking with people, verbally confident and engaging

• Previous retail experience within a furniture/bulky goods retail environment is highly regarded, but not essential

• Strong interpersonal skills, we work as a team at Snooze

• Attention to detail and organisational skills

• A willingness to learn lots of product knowledge and adapt

• The necessary fitness to walk the floor throughout the day

• Physical strength to carry heavy stock safely, from time to time

• The ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
