Aviation Logistics Manager

• Senior leadership role owning aviation logistics and supply chain for a life-saving fleet.
• Manage high-value Partner, OEM & Supplier relationships.
• Lead and develop RFDS WO Logistics team across procurement, inventory and supplier management.
• Full-time, permanent position based at Jandakot with free onsite parking. 

About the team
RFDS WA Engineering keeps a fleet of 17 Pilatus PC-12 (plus the new PC-12 PRO), 3 PC-24 jets and 2 EC145 helicopters flying safely and reliably from our base at Jandakot and regional maintenance sites in Broome, Port Hedland, Kalgoorlie, Meekatharra and soon Geraldton. As Aviation Logistics Manager, you'll work closely with Engineering, Planning, Flight Operations, Procurement and Finance teams to keep aircraft mission-ready across one of the most remote and complex aviation operations in the world.

About the role

• Lead the Logistics team
• Lead the end-to-end aviation logistics function, from inventory and procurement through to supplier and contract performance.
• Manage OEM support programs including PBH agreements, component pooling, repair and overhaul, and warranty.
• Build financial discipline into logistics operations, from budgeting and forecasting through to audit compliance.

About you

• Solid experience in aviation logistics, supply chain or procurement, ideally in a regulated or aeromedical environment.
• A track record managing OEM support programs and commercial aviation agreements.
• Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, cost control and reporting.
• Confident negotiation and stakeholder management skills, with the credibility to work across Engineering, Finance and Flight Operations.
• Leadership experience, with a genuine interest in developing people.

This role is a Safety-Sensitive Aviation Activity under RFDS WA's Drug and Alcohol Management Plan and requires a police check and pre-employment drug and alcohol testing.
