Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team in Australia. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made from wood and other materials. This position is essential for ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and adherence to safety standards, contributing to the overall success of our projects.

Responsibilities:

• Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures made from wood, plywood, and other materials.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements.
• Measure, cut, and shape wood and other materials using hand tools and power tools.
• Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety regulations and building codes.
• Collaborate with other tradespeople and team members to complete projects on time.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
• Assist in the training of apprentices and junior carpenters.

Qualifications:

• Completion of a Carpentry apprenticeship or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience as a Carpenter, with a minimum of 2 years in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques and methods, including the use of various tools and materials.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Valid driver’s licence and reliable transportation.
