About the Role

This newly created technical role supports GenZ’s operational and service functions through the assembly, pre-wiring, and preparation of battery cabinets and distribution modules.

Working closely with the Technical Lead and Engineers you will play a key role in ensuring systems are built accurately, safely, and efficiently to support project delivery and ongoing product performance.

Key responsibilities include:

• Pre-wiring battery cabinets and assembling distribution modules

• Conducting electrical testing and quality checks prior to dispatch

• Supporting fault diagnosis, system configuration, and service preparation

• Assisting with warehouse activities including stock control, picking, and dispatch

• Maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and compliance

• Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives

This is a full time position based in our Malaga office.

Skills and Experience 

To be successful in this position, we are seeking candidates with:

• Experience in electrical assembly, wiring, or technical workshop environments

• Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and technical drawings

• Trade qualification in Electrical, Electrotechnology, Mechatronics or equivalent experience (preferred)

• Strong hands-on skills with excellent attention to detail

• Sound problem-solving and organisational capabilities

• Commitment to safety and quality standards

• Good communication skills and ability to work both independently and in a team

• Current Forklift licence (ideal)

• Current Australian driver’s licence and valid work rights
