Truck Driver

Humphris Nursery is seeking an experienced HC Driver to join the team on a permanent, full-time basis, Monday to Friday. You will be responsible for transporting stock between Yarra Valley production sites and completing multi-drop nursery plant deliveries throughout greater Melbourne, primarily across the eastern and south-eastern suburbs.

Key responsibilities

• Transporting stock between our Yarra Valley production sites.

• Completing multi-drop nursery plant deliveries throughout greater Melbourne, primarily across the eastern and south-eastern suburbs.

• Safely loading, transporting and unloading plants and other nursery products.

• Providing professional and friendly customer service at delivery locations.

• Ensuring perishable products are delivered safely and on time.

• Assisting with yard duties and general maintenance when not driving.

• Maintaining a strong focus on workplace health and safety.

About you

• A current Heavy Combination Driver's Licence.

• A minimum of 1 year's relevant heavy vehicle driving experience.

• A good knowledge of greater Melbourne, particularly the eastern and south-eastern suburbs.

• A strong understanding of customer service and professional delivery practices.

• The physical fitness required to perform driving, loading/unloading and occasional yard duties.

• A reliable, flexible and positive attitude.

• A strong work ethic and willingness to learn.

• The ability to work independently while also contributing positively to a team.

• A balanced temperament and a genuine commitment to providing excellent customer service.

• A strong commitment to workplace safety.
