About the role
As the Office Manager / Bookkeeper, you will oversee the day-to-day administration, financial management, and operational functions of the organisation. You will work alongside the CEO in a trusted leadership support role, taking ownership of all office operations and business administration functions. This is a unique opportunity to establish effective systems, processes, and controls that will support sustainable growth and strong governance.
Key responsibilities
Manage accounts payable and receivable
Process payroll and wage administration
Conduct bank reconciliations
Prepare and monitor budgets
Prepare income and expenditure reporting
Maintain financial records and ensure compliance
Prepare reports for auditors and accountants
Develop and implement office systems and procedures
Maintain records, databases, and filing systems
Support Board and governance requirements
About you
Minimum 3 years' experience in an Office Management, Bookkeeping, Finance Administration, or Business Operations role
Strong bookkeeping and financial administration skills
Experience managing budgets and preparing financial reports
Experience with payroll processing and financial software
Experience developing and implementing office systems and procedures
High-level organisational and time management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgement
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and cloud-based business systems
