Hire Controller

Job description

We currently have an exciting opportunity available for a Hire Controller at our Somerton branch.

In this role, you are the front of the business and are responsible for providing outstanding service to all customers.

The position is Full Time working Monday to Friday 7:00am to 5pm.

The key responsibilites of this role include:

• Coordinate daily operations – Generating hire schedules, stock transfers, branch pick-ups, transport, manual returns checks on equipment

• Support the team by unloading, loading, and potentially delivering equipment, cleaning equipment as well as general housekeeping duties around the yard and office

• Process payments in accordance with the creation and completion of hire contracts and invoices

• Maintain a good knowledge of our range of gear to help find the best solutions for our customers

• Contribute to the achievement of sales revenue, safety, customer loyalty and KPI's etc.

Experience required:

Ideally you will have experience in a similar position including:

• Previous experience in a customer service role, and a genuine interest in helping others

• Experience within the hire industry would be highly regarded

• A strong work ethic and a willingness to go to the extra mile

• Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal

• Problem solving skills & ability to manage multiple tasks in high pressure environment

• A current driver's licence is essential

• The job does involve manual work so having the ability to assist around the yard with various duties is required
