About the Role:

We're looking for a reliable and hands-on Branch Yard Hand to become a key part of our St Marys team. This position is currently based at our St Marys branch, with the possibility to relocate to our Smithfield branch as our operations continue to grow.

Employment Type: Part-Time (Split Shift)
Hours: Monday to Friday | 5:30am–8:30am & 1:00pm–4:00pm

This unique split-shift position plays a vital role in ensuring our installation crews leave each morning fully prepared and return each afternoon with all equipment accounted for and ready for the next day's work.

Key Responsibilities:

You'll be responsible for the day-to-day organisation of our Temporary Fencing yard, ensuring equipment is loaded, counted, maintained and stored correctly while supporting our drivers and installation crews.

Your day will include:

• Preparing and loading trucks for daily jobs

• Counting and issuing temporary fencing panels, blocks, clamps, gates and accessories

• Assisting crews to ensure they have the correct equipment before leaving site

• Receiving, counting and checking returned equipment

• Recording damaged or missing stock

• Maintaining a clean, organised and safe yard

• Assisting with stock control and stocktakes

• Supporting the Branch Manager and field crews as required

About You:

We're looking for someone who:

• Has previous yard, labouring or construction experience

• Forklift licence (Required)

• Is physically fit and comfortable with manual handling

• Has excellent attention to detail

• Is organised and dependable

• Can work independently and as part of a team

• Has a positive attitude and strong work ethic

• Takes pride in maintaining a clean and safe workplace

• Experience in the hire, construction or temporary fencing industry will be highly regarded but is not essential.
