Emergency & Response Cleaner

Location: Western Sydney

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm

About the Role:

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Emergency & Response Cleaner to join our team working in our whole of Government cleaning contract. This is a full-time position providing essential cleaning services in response to urgent and unexpected situations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Respond promptly to emergency cleaning requests
• Perform a range of cleaning tasks including biohazard, spill response, and general sanitation
• Maintain high standards of hygiene and safety at all times
• Work independently across various sites with minimal supervision.
• Handle confronting or unpleasant cleaning situations with professionalism.

• Level 2 award pay rate (as per relevant industry award)

Requirements:

• Must reside in Western Sydney
• Valid driver’s licence (essential)
• Ability to respond quickly and work under pressure
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
• Willingness to undertake training if required

Desirable:

• Previous experience in cleaning, emergency response, or similar roles
• Knowledge of safety procedures and handling hazardous materials
